Many people say, "There are no opportunities in Ratnagiri." That if you want to build something meaningful, you have to move to Mumbai or Pune.

Our founder, Soham, once believed that too.

While working in Mumbai, he often wondered whether opportunities existed only in big cities, or whether they could be created back home. The answer was closer than he thought.

Years earlier, Soham's mother used to make and sell homemade lassi in Ratnagiri. People loved its rich, authentic taste. Although the business eventually stopped, the recipe and the memories never faded.

Instead of continuing down the conventional path in Mumbai, Soham chose to return to Ratnagiri and build something of his own.

That decision became The Can Co.

Inspired by his mother's recipe and driven by the belief that local products can compete with the best, The Can Co. was created to bring authentic lassi into a modern, convenient can.

Today, our lassi is made with the same philosophy that inspired us from the beginning — simple ingredients, honest craftsmanship, and uncompromising taste. No unnecessary shortcuts. Just real lassi made with care.

But The Can Co. is about more than a beverage.

It's about believing that opportunities don't only exist in big cities. Sometimes they're waiting right where you started.

From a mother's kitchen in Ratnagiri to cans enjoyed across the region, our journey is proof that great ideas can grow anywhere.
